Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Lead Modeler to drive modeling standards, ensure quality and accuracy of models, and facilitate project execution. This role will involve collaborating with clients and participating in continuous improvement activities.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Modeling Standards
  • Create structural drawings and Revit models that meet established quality benchmarks
  • E nsure construction documents are accurately modeled
Project Execution
  • Develop and communicate a comprehensive plan of approach to stakeholders
  • Understand and document tasks necessary to deliver project objectives and estimate required hours
  • Implement the plan, and reconcile it with the project team as needed
Client Interaction
  • Maintain proactive and effective communication with clients
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines' design changes and model challenges
Continuous Improvement
  • Pursue continuing education opportunities
  • Participate in material groups, update, and improve industry standards and best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Associates or combined education and experience
  • Autodesk Certified Professional: Revit for Structural Design
  • 3+ years of full-time work experience in structural design
  • Experience in mid-sized structural projects
  • 3+ years Revit Experience
  • Working knowledge Tekla, and SDS/2, and/or StrucSoft highly preferred
  • Strong organization, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
