We are looking for a Structural Engineer who will be responsible for reviewing and familiarise architectural plans, design calculations, structural modelling, design optimisation, drafting and documentation, and detailing and compliance to Australians standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or any relevant Engineering degree
• A license in engineering is highly preferred
• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Structural Engineer or similar roles
• Familiarity with Australian codes is a plus

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and understand architectural plans provided by the General Manager.
• Ensure alignment with project requirements and objectives.
• Calculate the Design Wind Load.
• Use appropriate standards and methods to ensure accurate load calculations.:
• Model the structure using your preferred software to simulate forces from wind loads.
• Analyse the structural behaviour under different loading conditions.
• Design suitable steel and footing profiles to achieve cost-effective and safe structural solutions.
• Ensure designs meet safety standards and are economically feasible.
• Calculate detailed connection requirements, including foundation footings, screws/bolts, and welds.
• Ensure all connection details are robust and compliant with Australian standards.:
• Sketch design analysis results using AutoCAD.
• Prepare official shop drawings for construction.
• Draft and compile the Design Calculation Report, ensuring all necessary details are documented.
• Create a summary report of the design analysis and submit it to the General Manager.
• Prepare and sign the Structural Certification, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with the General Manager and project team to discuss design concepts and solutions.
• Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure project timelines are met.

This role is subject to a number of skills and possible online practical tests.

This position is an onsite role at our Pampanga office. Candidate must be willing to work on-site.
