About the Role

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with experience in Fintech to work closely with our engineering team and deliver software testing best practices.

This position involves developing and executing automated test scripts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing and implementing test plans, and utilizing defect tracking tools. You will also participate in CI/CD pipelines, integrate testing suites, and conduct API testing using tools like Karate.

  • Develop automated test scripts to ensure quality and reliability of software products
  • Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and identify test scenarios
  • Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test suites to validate software functionality
  • Use defect tracking tools to report and track issues
  • Participate in CI/CD pipelines and integrate testing suites
  • Conduct API testing using Karate to verify backend functionalities
Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, demonstrating proficiency in automation testing
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Experience in test plan development, test case creation, execution, and reporting
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and management tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks
  • ISTQB certification is a plus, showcasing a commitment to quality assurance standards
  • Familiarity with automation scripting using Cypress and Selenium, with proven ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts
  • Experience working in Agile environments and participating in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives
