Computer Laboratory Technician Role

This is a full-time position that involves working in a computer laboratory setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness and safety, and reporting maintenance issues.

The role requires strong technical skills, particularly in troubleshooting and repairing computer equipment. Additionally, the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and faculty members is essential.

A key responsibility of this role is to enforce laboratory procedures and ensure that all users adhere to them. This includes monitoring the use of equipment and software, as well as maintaining records of activities undertaken in the laboratory.

This position also involves providing support and assistance to students, which may include answering questions, offering guidance, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Department: College Studies
  • Work experience: 1 year work-related experience
  • Eligibility: Preferably Civil Service Professional

Educational requirement: At least graduate of BS Computer Science or Information Technology or its equivalent
