Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator and Takeoff Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from construction drawings and specifications, utilizing their expertise in reading and interpreting construction plans to identify project scope, materials, and labor requirements.

A key aspect of this role is collaboration with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate budgeting and project execution. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and time-management skills, as well as strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from construction drawings and specifications
  • Read and interpret construction plans to identify project scope, materials, and labor requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate budgeting and project execution
  • Create detailed takeoffs and estimates using Smart Glazier software
  • Organize and track data using Google Sheets to ensure all information is up-to-date and accessible
