Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of our real estate portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions for our real estate properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Utilize industry-leading software to manage property accounting, tenant ledgers, rent payments, owner statements, and property reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts using QuickBooks Online to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Process monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management review.
  • Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, industry regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in real estate accounting with a strong background in financial management.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with industry-leading software (AppFolio).
  • Strong QuickBooks Online skills with a proven track record of accurate bookkeeping.
  • In-depth understanding of real estate financial workflows, including rent collection, owner payouts, and property expense tracking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
