Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of active assignments, overseeing the development and optimization of comprehensive financial models.
  • Lead the creation of financial models to support strategic decision-making, collaborating closely with team members to ensure model robustness and reliability.
  • Develop and refine assumptions, parameters, and scenarios under the guidance of senior managers, ensuring model accuracy and reliability.
  • Discuss commercial issues with clients, ensuring accurate reflection in the model.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model assumptions and outputs, aiding clients in making informed decisions.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of our financial modeling methodologies and tools, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Prepare comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies, and results.
  • Maintain meticulous records of modeling processes and methodologies to uphold high standards and ensure consistency.
  • Lead in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.


Team Leadership

  • Lead a team of modeling professionals, guiding them in their work and mentoring junior team members.
  • Collaborate closely with team members, learning from and contributing to assignments.
  • Communicate model findings and insights effectively to clients and internal teams.
  • Simplify complex financial model issues to make them understandable for non-technical stakeholders.


Growth Opportunities

  • Lead client pitches and build relationships with key stakeholders.


Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in a financial role, preferably within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting.
  • Good understanding of accounting concepts, with an accounting qualification being beneficial.
  • In-depth knowledge of Project Finance, Corporate Finance, or Financial Planning concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proven experience in building and operating financial models using Excel.
  • Degree qualified in a numerate discipline, with a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance being beneficial.
  • Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
