Accounting Manager Job Description

The Accounting Manager role involves overseeing financial accounting and transaction processing. This expert position serves as an ambassador for TGG Way and US GAAP accounting standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the month-end close process to ensure timely completion and adherence to checklists.
  • Reviewing final profit & loss (P&L) scrub and approving journal entries prepared by staff members.
  • Verifying the accuracy of the balance sheet workbook, including regular spot-checks on source document filing.
  • Reviewing and updating financial notes, charts, graphs, and footnotes to align with KPIs and executive summaries.
  • Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management are key responsibilities, including leading budgeting and forecasting efforts for real estate projects.

Tax compliance and regulatory filings, such as preparing and submitting sales tax returns, are essential tasks.

The Accounting Manager will manage recurring weekly accounting processes and review customer invoicing, vendor bills, and process payments.

Required Skills: 5+ years of accounting experience in financial close, variance analysis, and payroll processing; fluency in English; strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Advanced Excel skills.
