Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Technical Content Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing governance of a knowledge base, ensuring its overall health and best practices.

The ideal candidate should encourage correct and widespread usage of the knowledge base, create guidelines for what information is captured and by whom, and how to keep it from growing stale.

This role requires a seasoned technical writer who is passionate about breaking complex processes down into easy-to-follow steps.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating engaging online articles, guides, and user support content independently.
  • Experience with writing and graphics tools and apps, including online platforms.
  • Deep understanding of applying formatting (headers, bolding, icons, lists, tables, screenshots) to make the most important points stand out.
  • Ability to analyze data (KPI, Quality, searches, views), identify areas for improvement, and create innovative solutions.
  • Ability to learn new knowledge and skills quickly, a penchant for self-development.
  • Ability to work effectively and collegially with all team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in content writing.
  • Strong writing ability.
  • Familiarity with editing strategies and processes.
  • Demonstrated spelling/grammar skills.
  • Demonstrated Organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated Self-Management Skills.
  • Demonstrated Time Management Skills.
  • Demonstrated Multitasking skills.
  • Demonstrated Communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated Interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows XP, MS Word, and MS Excel.
