Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to support the development and maintenance of cloud-based applications and platforms.

The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing APIs, enhancing system functionality, and ensuring seamless integration of backend components. As a back end developer, you will have the opportunity to work with a young, dynamic, and motivated team of people.

  • Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of backend applications and APIs.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Support database management.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Contribute to team best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug backend issues.
  • Propose effective solutions.

Key qualifications include 2+ years of solid hands-on experience in designing & developing server-side applications, including at least 1 year of experience with Nodejs, solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases, experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS, experience with unit testing, experience using Git, experience with designing APIs, Docker, and understanding algorithms and data structures.

Additional qualifications such as experience with React or other front-end frameworks, SSR, SSG, GraphQL, gRPC, and knowledge of other backend technologies are considered a plus.

Key attributes include demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, being a team player, ability to manage tasks independently, taking ownership of responsibilities, high critical thinking to evaluate alternatives, and presenting proof-of-concept solutions that can help business objectives and concepts.
