Accountant Role

This position plays a critical part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support month-end close processes by maintaining relevant workpapers, ensuring compliance with GAAP and best practices.
  • Oversee the fixed asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal, including tracking capital expenditures, calculating monthly depreciation and amortization, and performing periodic reconciliations of fixed asset accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue/Receivables team to facilitate timely and accurate cash applications.
  • Execute month-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and analyzing balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring proper elimination entries are made for consolidating multiple legal entities.
  • Assist in preparing schedules and providing documentation for annual financial audits.
  • Interface with the accounts payable team to ensure proper classification of expenses and enforce best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as an in-house accounting professional preparing month-end close reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
  • A completed university degree in accounting; CPA (or similar international charter) is preferred but not required.
  • Strong proficiency with NetSuite and Ramp is mandatory. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and Google Sheets is also required.
  • Familiarity with GAAP accounting is essential; advanced proficiency in lease accounting is a plus but not required.
