  • As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and filing pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses with accuracy.
  • You will also be responsible for organizing and maintaining legal files to ensure compliance with procedural requirements.
  • Conducting legal and factual research and producing concise and well-supported findings is another key aspect of this role.
  • Preparation of trial binders, exhibits and witness materials in advance of hearings is crucial to the success of this position.
  • Tracking deadlines, hearings and schedules to prevent delays is essential.
  • Effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders is vital to gathering and clarifying case details.
  • Managing document production and review during discovery is a critical function of this role.
  • Providing proactive administrative and litigation support throughout all phases of case management is also expected.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience as a paralegal working in litigation is required.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery processes and filings is essential.
  • Proficiency with case management systems (Clio, PracticePanther or equivalent) is necessary.
  • Skilled in legal research tools such as LexisNexis, Westlaw or PACER is a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines is essential.
