Job Summary

A highly skilled and detail-oriented paralegal is required to oversee our eviction case preparation and filings from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in law or paralegal studies, at least 2 years of experience in litigation support, paralegal work, or eviction processing, and exceptional written English skills.



Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and draft legal documents including notices, summons & complaints, declarations, exhibits, motions for default, writs of restitution, stipulations
  • Manage complex legal timelines and workflows using our proprietary case management system
  • Coordinate process service with external providers
  • File cases electronically (or by mail, where necessary) with courts across Washington state
  • Prepare and track hearing schedules, filings, service affidavits
  • Collaborate with our licensed attorney for supervision and sign-off
  • Maintain accurate records of all legal actions per property and tenant
  • Monitor expenses and legal billings for all cases
  • Continuously improve templates and standard operating procedures for consistency and efficiency


Requirements

We are seeking an individual with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or Paralegal Studies (JD or LLB preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience in litigation support, paralegal work, or eviction processing
  • Excellent written English skills and ability to draft pleadings and assemble court-ready documents
  • Familiarity with U.S. legal systems or forms, particularly landlord-tenant law
  • Tech-savvy and proficient in internal software tools
  • Detail-oriented and organized under tight deadlines
