Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the field of IT Security, where you will be responsible for assessing the organization's infrastructure and data to identify vulnerabilities that could expose it to a security breach. You will evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures, make recommendations to improve security based on your assessments and knowledge of current and emerging threats, and monitor and investigate alerts in security monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of the organization's infrastructure and data to identify potential security risks
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures, such as firewalls and intrusion-detection systems
  • Make recommendations to improve security based on your assessments and knowledge of current and emerging threats
  • Monitor and investigate alerts in security monitoring tools, such as SIEM and EDR
  • Recognize and report possible security violations or incidents and deliver effective response and remediation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and fix security risks
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good team working skills to develop security solutions in collaboration with other information technology professionals
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal, report writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to self-prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to travel on short notice and for extended periods of time
  • Motivation to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Drive to work independently while being an effective team member
