Job Title: Software Developer in Cloud Native Technologies

Our organization is at the forefront of a global shift towards open-source software. We are pioneering a platform based on Ubuntu that's revolutionizing the world of software.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate on end-to-end data analytics and MLOps solutions using popular machine learning tools like Kubeflow, MLFlow, DVC, and Feast. You will work on ETL, data governance, and visualization tools such as Apache SuperSet, dbt, workflow orchestration tools like Airflow and Temporal, or data warehouse solutions such as Apache Trino or ClickHouse.

As a software developer, you'll work alongside a distributed team of engineers, designers, and product managers who are passionate about technology and innovation. Your day-to-day tasks may include:

  • Developing your understanding of the Linux stack from kernel to application layer
  • Designing, building, and maintaining solutions for deployment on public and private clouds and local workstations
  • Mastery of distributed systems concepts including observability, identity, tracing
  • Working with Kubernetes and machine-oriented open-source applications
  • Collaborating proactively with a distributed team of engineers, designers, and product managers
  • Debugging issues and engaging with upstream and Ubuntu communities
  • Generating and discussing ideas, and collaborating on finding good solutions

We're seeking individuals with excellent academic track records, professional or academic experience in software delivery using Python, and strong interpersonal skills.
