Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team.
  • This role is responsible for designing and implementing cloud-native systems and services that meet ambitious service level agreements. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure internally and externally facing systems are highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and continuously improved.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure operations and engineering concepts in AWS and Azure, and IT tools.
  • They will be responsible for building, maintaining, monitoring, logging, and optimizing cloud-native business solutions using Terraform, Kubernetes environments, GitHub Actions libraries, and scripting languages like Bash and Python.
  • The successful candidate will have experience working with Azure and AWS cloud platforms, DevOps tools and patterns, and Data DevOps and DevSecOps.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will also need strong customer focus and experience working in hybrid on- and offshore models.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Mid-Senior level experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, and IT operations.
  • Strategic problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making ability with a sense of urgency.

We are looking for an intellectually curious technologist up to date with technology trends in the industry who can execute, monitor, and assist in the development of automation delivered by the Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, monitor, log, and optimize cloud-native business solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure internally and externally facing systems are highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and continuously improved.
