Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate software engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for engineering, a customer-first mindset, and a self-starter attitude. They will contribute to the development of scalable and resilient applications, working closely with a squad of engineers, product managers, QA engineers, and designers.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from designing and building robust solutions to deploying and monitoring them in production. They will tackle complex technical challenges with autonomy, bringing innovative solutions to the team. They will collaborate closely with their squad to define technical requirements and architect high-performance systems.

The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience in full stack software engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable and resilient applications. They will have deep proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js, with backend experience in NestJS and Java. They will also have good understanding of testing frameworks like Jest, performance testing, and E2E testing.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have extensive experience with cloud platforms, ideally with Google Cloud (GCP) or AWS. They will have proven knowledge of software architecture and best practices for building cloud-native applications. They will also have experience working with CI/CD pipelines and an understanding of how to automate and improve deployment processes.

The candidate will be responsible for instilling a culture of strong ownership and accountability for the software they build. They will be a champion for the customer experience, ensuring that every technical decision they make has a positive impact on the end user.

The role requires a solid understanding of monitoring, observability, and the tools used to ensure application health and performance. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform is also desirable.
