Job Overview

A highly skilled Senior Accountant is needed to manage daily accounting operations, prepare financial reports, and ensure accurate data management. Our organization is dedicated to supporting student parents in achieving economic mobility and building wealth.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy and timeliness.
    • Conduct variance analysis and implement corrective actions to maintain financial integrity.
    • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for optimal data management.
    • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Accounting Operations
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable using QuickBooks Online and Bill.com for efficient payment processing.
    • Review vendor invoices, employee expenses, and client billings for accuracy and compliance.
    • Ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of payables to maintain a healthy cash flow.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field with strong academic credentials.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role, requiring advanced skills and expertise.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com is mandatory for effective accounting operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy are required to maintain data integrity and meet financial reporting requirements.
