Software Quality Assurance Specialist

  • We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Specialist to contribute to the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a Software Tester or QA Analyst, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. They will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify and report software defects.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software applications meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and analyze reported defects.
  • Create detailed and concise defect reports, including steps to reproduce and supporting documentation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software testing processes and tools.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Software Tester or QA Analyst.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Knowledge of bug tracking systems and version control tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
