Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist">

As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. You will work closely with our development team to identify issues, suggest improvements, and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies in accordance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to developers to enhance code quality.
  • Participate in agile/scrum development processes and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide clear and concise documentation of testing procedures and results to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to the testing process and tools to stay ahead of industry trends.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing with a strong background in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript with hands-on experience in developing test scripts.
  • Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and experience with database testing.
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent written and verbal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with prioritization and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
