Senior Backend Laravel Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Laravel Developer to lead our PHP and RESTful API development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Laravel framework, with expertise in design and development.


About This Role
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope and prioritize backend API requirements
  • Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs using Laravel
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices for mobile API endpoints
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Laravel code following coding standards
  • Develop automated tests (unit and integration) to ensure API reliability and performance
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of backend architecture
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues as they arise in production

Requirements:
  • 5+ years professional experience with PHP & Laravel framework
  • Strong expertise in RESTful API design and development principles
  • Experience integrating mobile clients (iOS/Android) with Laravel backends
  • Solid understanding of database management systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with queues, events, jobs, and service containers in Laravel
  • Strong understanding of authentication flows (JWT, OAuth)
  • Proficiency with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
