Security Assurance Manager Role

This role leads security assurance initiatives and drives compliance with various security frameworks to ensure data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead security assurance programs ensuring regulatory and internal standards compliance. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Oversee external audits and work closely with auditors to provide necessary documentation and responses.
  • Evaluate security controls and develop strategies for remediation and improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on security frameworks influencing organizational security strategy and policy development.
  • Develop security standards and guidelines in alignment with industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability evaluations to evaluate the organization's security posture.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of experience in information security, specifically focusing on security assurance and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of prominent security frameworks such as HITRUST CSF, SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
  • Proven track record of managing and leading successful external audit engagements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this role.
