As an Audit Professional, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating the effectiveness and adequacy of controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations covering manual and automated systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, with expertise in reviewing and submitting audit findings and making recommendations to senior management on initiatives conducted. This includes:

  • Audit records pertaining to staff and material assets, such as equipment and buildings, to determine the degree to which they are utilized.
  • Audit Head Office and Branch Office activities to validate accuracy and completeness of recording of transactions and compliance with management plans and policies/applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct inventory/spot cash counts during audit engagement.
  • Conduct audits of specified disbursements and expenses.

You will also be responsible for reviewing and monitoring compliance to and effectiveness of risk management programs being implemented, including:

  • Posting audit transactions on loans, membership, and accounting services, fund management, collection, personnel, and administration.
  • Reviewing recorded transactions in journal entries and general ledgers and its subsidiaries.
  • Validating the accuracy of asset inventory records of the business unit being audited.

Key responsibilities include determining the scope of audit samples to be used, preparing audit reports disclosing findings and recommendations, and ensuring accurate and complete reporting of financial data.
