Job Opportunity

This role plays a pivotal part in the financial control landscape by supporting SOX testing for Group Reporting and complex accounting areas.

You will join a team where your expertise drives assurance and quality across global processes.

  • Support the creation of a risk-based financial control testing plan, ensuring Group Reporting financial controls are tested for their design and operating effectiveness for SOX purposes.
  • Independently manage the group reporting scope planning and monitoring of Group reporting controls, timely updating of testing status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Test controls around Group Reporting and other complex accounting areas.
  • Provide Shell SOX testing service to Process leads and Financial Control Business leads.
Required Expertise
  • Education: Graduate degree in Economics, Audit, or Accountancy area.
  • Qualified CPA and/or additional professional qualifications in Accountancy/Finance/Audit/Internal Controls (CIA, ACCA, CISA) are preferred but not mandatory.
  • 6+ years of experience in internal controls or audit, 1-2+ years in a similar position with supervisory experience.
  • Experience of planning and executing audits/test/walkthroughs.
  • IT literate and solid working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio).
  • Language: English fluent oral and written.
