Job Title: Financial Professional

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will oversee the company's financial transactions, perform reconciliations and closing processes, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage the general ledger to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end reconciliations and closing procedures.
  • Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other reports as required.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and other general ledger accounts.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure adherence to local and international financial reporting standards.
  • Handle audits and ensure the company's financial records are compliant with audit requirements.
  • Work closely with external auditors, tax authorities, and other third parties as needed.
  • Provide financial insights and support to management to inform decision-making.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in General Ledger accounting.
  • Proven experience with Xero accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
  • Experience in a business intelligence or data-driven company is advantageous.
