Protection Specialist Job Description

This role is crucial in safeguarding our clients' e-commerce operations and maintaining customer trust in their premium wellness brand.

Responsibilities:
  • Review high-risk transactions to prevent financial losses
  • Identify suspicious patterns in customer behavior to ensure security measures are adequate
  • Monitor multiple payment gateway activities for any discrepancies
  • Handle sensitive customer interactions with discretion to uphold trust
  • Conduct confidential account reviews to detect potential risks
  • Resolve complex situations while maintaining customer satisfaction levels
  • Collaborate with team members on risk evaluation and implement fraud prevention systems
  • Document and update internal security protocols to stay ahead of threats
  • Identify gaps in current fraud prevention measures and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain detailed records of fraud cases and provide insights for future decisions
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures related to data protection
  • Generate and analyze fraud prevention metrics to optimize security measures
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar field or customer-facing roles
  • Proven track record in fraud analysis, risk management, or security assessments
  • Experience with e-commerce or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, preferably in a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong analytical and pattern recognition skills to identify potential risks
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to minimize errors
  • Strong communication and empathy skills to work effectively with customers and team members
  • Ability to work autonomously with sound judgment and make informed decisions
  • Experience with multiple payment gateway systems to ensure seamless transactions
