Job Role Overview

The role of a Revenue Performance Analyst involves monitoring trade spend efficiency, developing revenue dashboards and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor Trade Spend Efficiency: Analyze data to optimize trade promotions and maximize revenue returns.
  • Develop Revenue Performance Dashboards: Create visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with Cross-functional Teams: Collaborate with sales, marketing and operations teams to align business objectives and drive revenue growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Revenue Management or Trade Analytics: Proven track record of analyzing data to inform business decisions.
  • Experience with Syndicated and POS Data: Familiarity with tools like Nielsen and IRI.
  • Familiarity with Trade Promotion or ERP Systems: Knowledge of systems like SAP.
  • Experience in Pricing or Promotional Investment Analysis: Ability to analyze data to optimize pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Three to Five Years of Experience in CPG Industry: Experience working in the consumer packaged goods sector.
  • KPIS Monitoring: Ability to track and analyze KPIs to inform business decisions.
  • Market Research Analysis: Ability to analyze market trends and customer behavior.
  • Demographic Knowledge: Understanding of demographic characteristics and their impact on business decisions.
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Advanced Excel and Analytical Modeling Skills: Ability to create complex models to analyze data and inform business decisions.
  • Proficiency in Power BI: Familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Strong Knowledge of Pricing and Trade Terms: Understanding of pricing and trade terminology.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and identify trends and patterns.
  • Proactive: Self-motivated and able to take initiative to drive results.
