Key Responsibilities

Process and post daily payments to invoices in a timely manner. Identify and report any unprocessed bank statements to the concerned team lead.

Access bank portals, download, and save bank statements and backup documents related to cash posting.

  • Code remittance details received on shared mailboxes.
  • Reach out to counterparts for unidentified/unapplied payments and request posting instructions.
  • Post collections requests, including set offs, refunds, corrections, and write-offs.
  • Perform daily cash reconciliation audits, matching incoming cash from the bank with total cash posted to ensure accurate payment recording.
  • Manage monthly statements and dunning processes.
  • Respond to customer requests for invoices, proof of deliveries, or statements.
  • Manage customer disputes through FSCM Dispute Management and assign tasks to customer services or Credit & Collections Team.
  • Prepare communication for customers regarding refunds, e-statements, etc.
  • Support month-end activities, including generating and submitting reports, generating monthly statements, etc.
  • Provide requested information and documentation to banks.
  • Collaborate with the Master Data team to ensure accurate customer information in SAP.
  • Communicate account changes to relevant owners.
  • Monitor service success and deliver an excellent customer experience.
Requirements

Education: Degree holder in accounting, finance, or relevant field required.

Experience: Minimum 1 year working experience in accounts receivable.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Previous experience in cash application, dispute management, billing, and customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Experience handling tasks requiring attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with ERP, preferably SAP FI module.
  • Previous working experience with North America and European counterparts.
  • Intermediate knowledge in accounting.

Above-average MS Excel skills.
