Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the cash application process, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular quality reviews to ensure accuracy and timeliness of cash applications.
  • Monitor and report on underpayments, overpayments, and unapplied payments.
  • Analyze and resolve customer inquiries related to cash applications, past due balances, and credit management.
  • Develop and implement effective processes to improve cash flow and reduce days sales outstanding.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in accounts receivable management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounts receivable, with a focus on cash application and credit management.
  • Proficient in SAP AR and advanced accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
