The role of the Financial Policy Specialist is crucial in ensuring that our finance policies and procedures are clear, concise, and effective. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive framework for finance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with our organization's policy framework.

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of finance policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and policy development, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

This role involves working closely with stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement finance policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment, communicate complex information clearly, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The Finance Policy Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a robust review process for all finance policies and procedures;
  • Preparing new finance policies and procedures and amending existing ones based on external research and feedback from stakeholders;
  • Ensuring that all finance policies and procedures are up-to-date and aligned with our organization's policy framework;
  • Communicating changes to finance policies and procedures to stakeholders across the organization;
  • Providing advice and support to colleagues on the interpretation and implementation of finance policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, or Law;
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in business process analysis, project management, and process improvement;
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in developing policies, procedures, guidelines, training materials, or other stakeholder communications;
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment and communicating complex information clearly;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
