Job Overview

The License Management Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of licensing operations. This position significantly impacts revenue growth and contributes to success.

This role works closely with the sales team by creating, evaluating, and optimizing license quotes from vendors. The License Management Specialist will also collaborate with Client Success Managers on license renewals and administration, maintain license reporting, and support the sales team with license updates from Atlassian.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop processes, procedures, and training for new software agreements.
  • Administer and communicate program details for software license agreement processes.
  • Provide technical licensing support for all customers.
  • Collaborate with Client Success Managers to maintain and manage volume licensing agreements.
  • Partner with peers/program managers to ensure consistent use of best practices.
  • Deliver monthly reporting.
License Management
  • License Quoting and Renewals:
    • Quoting in vendor systems.
    • Creating quotes in Isos systems of record (NetSuite).
    • Distributing to sales reps for client review meetings.
    • Processing license purchase orders and ensuring license keys are delivered.
    • Documentation:
      • Processing client purchase orders in Confluence account structures.
      • Completing order fulfillment processes in Netsuite, Confluence, and Jira (Service desk requests).
      • Systems:
        • Confluence
          • Notes and documenting new opportunities.
        • Netsuite
          • Creating license quotes, invoices, and purchase orders.
          • Completing order fulfillment processes.
        • Jira Service Management
          • Managing ticket requests promptly.
        • Gathering requests and suggestions for system enhancements and changes.
        • Meetings:
          • Attending bi-weekly licensing meetings.
          • General:
            • Continually improving knowledge of products and services to assure well-rounded knowledge of all areas of operation.
            • Training and certifications as requested by management.
