Job Title: Automation and Process Development Specialist

Join our organization to discover the exciting role of an Automation and Process Development Specialist.

Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated processes that enhance our operational efficiency. Your primary focus will be on gathering business process details through interviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and collaborating with stakeholders to conduct current state process assessments.

You will participate in daily scrum meetings and Agile development methodology and process. Your analytical skills will be utilized to document business processes at a keystroke level (L4), design end-to-end processes according to standard design principles, and learn the capabilities and limitations of robotics software tools.

Another crucial aspect of this role is analyzing and observing processes to understand process steps, interdependencies, and applications used to complete automation. You will identify processes suitable for automation, provide recommendations for reengineering processes to improve automation potential, and prepare detailed process documentation, including SIPOC, IPA, PDD, SDD, etc.

Additionally, you will communicate effectively about why particular approaches are best fits for requirements, deliver clean configuration and testing, support organizational initiatives by positively influencing change management, and take responsibility for project activities including work estimation, planning, stakeholder management, and project quality.

Finally, you will participate in the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including design, configuration, installation, while adhering to the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and following all physical and digital security practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering/Computer Science, Finance or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in programming (.NET, Java, C++, SAS, R, Python, etc.).
  • 1+ years of relevant RPA development experience with one of the market-leading RPA platforms: Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Workfusion.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript and frameworks like jQuery, Angular; cloud development and deployments; Microservices, AWS, and Azure.
  • Demonstrated expertise with at least 1 full lifecycle Analytics or Systems integration engagement across strategy, design, and implementation.
  • Superior documentation and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access); advanced experience in Visio.
