Job Title: Business Process Automation Specialist

Overview

The role of a Business Process Automation Specialist revolves around capitalizing on the use of Low Code No Code (Microsoft Power Platform) as a primary means of automation. This involves creating and implementing test automation strategies for projects executed in Agile development methodologies.

This position requires close collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, automate business processes and workflows, and create data visualization and reporting solutions.

Key responsibilities include communicating project status to key stakeholders and senior management, coordinating and facilitating test automation planning, design, and execution sessions, identifying areas for improved testing efficiencies and automation implementation, and designing and implementing automation frameworks/strategies for web, mobile, Windows, among others.

This role also entails extending test coverage by creating appropriate tools, utilities, and automation scripts that assist in functional testing and test data creation, integrating Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure, and providing technical support and training to users.

Additionally, this specialist is expected to stay updated with the latest features and updates in the Microsoft Power Platform and applicable Low Code No Code and High Code technologies.

Qualifications and Skillset
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Power Platform Developer or in a similar role, with at least 3-5 years of experience.
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot, and other Power Platform components.
  • Experience with common data services, data connectors, and APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
