Financial Controller

The ideal candidate will be responsible for comprehensive accounting operations, including financial reporting and ensuring compliance across multiple platforms such as Airbnb, Vrbo, and other vacation rental channels.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage daily accounting activities for a portfolio of short-term rental properties.
- Reconcile bank accounts, merchant accounts, and booking platform payouts.
- Track income, occupancy taxes, fees, and commissions from various rental platforms.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow reports.
- Coordinate with property managers or hosts regarding budget adherence and expense tracking.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and tax filings, including transient occupancy tax (TOT) or similar.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning specific to seasonal rental cycles.
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel is required. Additionally, experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Guesty, or Hostaway is beneficial.
