The role of a Therapy Staffing Coordinator is crucial in bridging the gap between families seeking Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) care and the therapists who provide it.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Interface: Engage with both families and ABA therapists as the face of the organization, ensuring seamless communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Receive job alerts via Smartsheet and take immediate action by posting openings on job boards and sharing opportunities with existing candidates, thus streamlining the hiring process.
  • Candidate Screening: Review client notes carefully to understand family needs and ensure accurate therapist placements, guaranteeing the best possible match for clients and therapists alike.
  • Talent Acquisition: Screen candidates for skills, professionalism, and personality fit, assessing their suitability for the role and the organization's values.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in healthcare staffing, recruiting, scheduling, or coordination, with a strong understanding of the industry's nuances.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, therapists, and other stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to assess and read people, fostering a positive working relationship with all parties involved.
  • Technical Skills: Computer efficiency and typing proficiency; experience with Apploi and Indeed advantageous.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively and meeting deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Confident problem solver with strong decision-making abilities, able to think critically and make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.

Working Conditions

This role requires a fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection. Additionally, a reliable power backup solution is necessary to manage load shedding and power outages.
