Training and Development Specialist

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining staff training programs, onboarding processes, and human resources information systems (HRIS) to support the smooth employee experience from hire to separation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HRIS systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to facilitate training in person and virtually.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering digital and instructor-led training modules for staff at all levels
- Tracking and maintaining employee training logs, certifications, and compliance deadlines
- Administering and troubleshooting the HRIS system, ensuring accurate entry of staff data, assignments, and reporting structures
- Collaborating with department leaders to customize training for role-specific requirements
Requirements include:
- Proficiency with HRIS systems
- Excellent verbal, written, and digital communication skills
- Ability to facilitate training in person and virtually
- Strong project management, time management, and collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of HR compliance requirements
Preferred qualifications include:
- SHRM certification
- Instructional design or adult learning certification
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field is required. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in HR, training coordination, or systems administration is also required.
