Job Overview

The Senior Engineering Manager position entails leading a team of engineers responsible for developing and implementing NetSuite-based solutions. This role requires overseeing the strategic direction of multiple teams, managing technical excellence, and driving innovation in ERP platform development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop leadership talent across engineering teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Recruitment and Talent Development: Attract, mentor, and retain top engineering talent with expertise in ERP solutions, focusing on skills such as JavaScript, SuiteScript, and database technologies.
  • Technical Oversight: Set technical direction, ensure architectural integrity, and drive scalable ERP solutions that meet business needs.
  • Custom Development: Oversee custom NetSuite development, including SuiteBundler/SuiteApp and SuiteFlow implementations, while maintaining code quality standards.
  • NetSuite Administration: Ensure proper implementation of custom objects, workflows, and administration processes, adhering to security compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development.
  • 5+ years of management experience leading multiple teams and managing managers.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL (PL/SQL), and relational database design with Oracle and MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures and ERP system implementation.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices for enterprise systems.
