Key Responsibilities:- Sales Strategy Development: Support strategic plans based on growing revenue, sales, market share productivity across the Merchant Acquiring business.
- New Business Acquisition: Bring on board strategic Merchant partners with a view of growing Acquiring business and increasing MCC footsteps in the industry.
- Customer Service: Conduct Merchant visitations, outbound calls, and extending customer service activities with a view of establishing rapport with merchants and resolving issues.
- Business Relationship Management: Build, develop, and utilize relationships with key areas within MCC and the Metrobank Group to grow Acquiring business.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance of the merchant terminal network, daily/weekly/monthly reports.
- Product Upgrade: Implement point-of-sales (POS) product upgrades from a device hardware, software, and communications perspective.
- Project Management: Assist in the design, measure, analyze, implement, and monitor strategic projects to ensure that each operational aspect of the project is considered and scheduled for completion within specified timeframes.
- Process Enhancement: Identify potential process/service enhancement and escalate as necessary.
- Issue Resolution: Ensure all concerns, issues, and requests of the key contacts are addressed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Inter-Unit Coordination: Coordinate with different business units to provide immediate feedback to key accounts.
- Special Projects: Perform projects/responsibilities/special tasks that may be assigned from time to time (e.g., BROC, BCP, Cost Champ, Corp. Correspondents, Line Trainer, e-Champ).
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree from a College/University.
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience doing sales in a financial institution or merchant acquiring business. Experience acquiring technology is an advantage.
- Merchant Interaction: Experience in coordinating with merchants.
- Geographic Mobility: Willing to do field work (area: Manila and CAMANAVA).
- Absenteeism: Willing to work on weekends and holidays.
