Job Description

As a mid-level accounting professional, you will be responsible for managing client engagements from start to finish with minimal supervision. This role requires strong communication skills to build and maintain client relationships as well as the ability to provide timely feedback to senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of assigned files and manage engagement work from planning through completion.
  • Build strong client relationships by understanding their business models and providing timely communication.
  • Participate in planning meetings and contribute to engagement strategy with input from senior team members.
  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and internal-use-only financial statements.
  • Monitor deadlines for tax filings, bank reporting, and other key deliverables.

To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate personal accountability, be proactive in identifying inefficiencies, and provide constructive feedback to the management group. You should also be comfortable working with various software tools including iFirm, CaseWare/CaseView, and Microsoft 365.

About You:
  • Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in public accounting.
  • CPA designation in progress or newly earned.
  • Proficient in iFirm, CaseWare/CaseView, and Microsoft 365.
