Accounting Leadership Role

This is a senior-level accounting position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and be able to lead the team with expertise and vision.

  • The Accounting Head will oversee the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets. They will ensure accurate and timely financial statements are prepared and reviewed on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements. This includes coordinating with external auditors during the annual audit process.
  • In addition, the Accounting Head will develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data. They will manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • The role also involves supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities. The Accounting Head will provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • The successful candidate will train, mentor, and supervise accounting staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in accounting management
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial regulations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
