Senior ServiceNow Developer Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge IT service management solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ServiceNow's capabilities and be proficient in its administration, configuration, customization, and development. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to analyze complex business requirements, and develop effective solutions.

This role is responsible for providing technical leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects and maintenance of existing systems.

The Senior ServiceNow Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and stakeholders, to identify business needs, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results.

The position requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and implement ServiceNow solutions that meet business requirements
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and other team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and prioritize tasks
  • Analyze complex business requirements and develop effective solutions
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects and maintenance of existing systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • 6-8 years of experience in IT service management, with a focus on ServiceNow
  • 5-7 years of experience in ServiceNow administration, configuration, customization, and development
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow core modules, including ITSM and ITAM
  • Experience with CSDM and CMDB, including integrating and importing data using asset discovery tools
  • Advanced understanding of best practices in development, testing, and production environments
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies

Technical Knowledge & Skills:

  • ServiceNow CSA certification
  • Advanced ServiceNow administration, including release/patch notes, impact assessment, and clone down
  • Strong understanding of CSDM and CMDB
  • Background and experience in server administration
  • SecOps and Integrated Risk Management module experience
  • Experience with SDLC and/or Agile development methodology
