Finance Officer - Accounts Payable Role

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to support our client's finance team. The role involves processing supplier invoices, reconciling accounts, and managing payment runs with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar software. They will be responsible for maintaining vendor records, ensuring documentation accuracy, and supporting month-end closing tasks.

This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who is collaborative, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing: Process, code, and enter supplier invoices in Microsoft Dynamics BC.
  • Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and supplier statements.
  • Payment Runs: Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs.
  • Vendor Liaison: Liaise with suppliers to resolve payment queries and discrepancies.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain vendor records and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Financial Support: Support month-end closing tasks and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Bookkeeping.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable or similar role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or other ERP tools such as SAP, Pronto, NetSuite essential.
  • Additional Requirements: High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions, strong organisational and time management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office suite.
