Job Title: Senior Account Specialist

This is a home-based senior account specialist position for a rapidly growing business in the United States.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. They must be able to meet strict deadlines, communicate effectively, and possess excellent knowledge of financial regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities include processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered; following up on, collecting, and allocating payments for credit card customers; communicating with previous clients and customers to request payment and arrange payment plans; maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses; performing account reconciliations; researching and resolving account discrepancies; working extensively with the collections department; creating reports and balance sheets; obtaining information from other departments; and performing administrative and clerical tasks.

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field is required. Two to five years of experience in accounts receivable/payable and/or general accounting are also necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a must. Strong Netsuite experience in functions for AR and AP process is preferred. Additionally, strong verbal, written, and communications skills are essential.
