Job description:

NETWORK Management & Maintenance

• Knowledge in ERP systems
• Install, configure, and support local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), VPNs, and other networking systems.
• Monitor network performance to ensure availability and reliability.
• Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and backups.

Security & Compliance

• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and access controls.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to security incidents and assist in disaster recovery planning.

Troubleshooting & Support

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Provide technical support to end-users regarding networking problems.
• Document problems, solutions, and network configurations.

Optimization & Development

• Recommend improvements for network infrastructure to enhance efficiency and security.
• Assist in planning and executing network expansions and upgrades.
• Stay updated with new networking technologies, protocols, and best practices.

CCTV Installation & Configuration

• Install, test, and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, monitors, and related equipment.
• Set up network connections for IP-based surveillance systems.
• Ensure proper camera placement, wiring, and recording functionality.

Monitoring & Maintenance

• Monitor live feeds and recorded footage to ensure system performance.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and software updates.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty cameras, cabling, and recording systems.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure CCTV systems meet company security standards and data privacy policies.
• Implement access controls and secure data storage for video footage.
• Assist in forensic video retrieval and evidence preservation when required.

Support & Documentation

• Provide technical support to staff on CCTV system usage.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, system changes, and repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors for spare parts, upgrades, or service contracts.

TELEPHONE Installation & Setup

• Install, configure, and test landline telephone systems, switches, and wiring.
• Set up new telephone lines, extensions, and voicemail systems.
• Ensure proper cabling and connectivity between devices and networks.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and repair issues related to dial tone, wiring faults, and connectivity.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of telephone systems.
• Coordinate with service providers to resolve line outages or network problems.

System Management

• Maintain records of telephone line assignments, repairs, and configurations.
• Support migration from traditional landlines to IP-based telephony if required.
• Ensure all systems comply with company standards and telecommunication regulations.

Customer & Staff Support

• Provide technical support to employees and clients regarding landline issues.
• Train end-users on proper use of telephone systems and features.
