Trust Accounting Role

The role of a Trust Accounting Officer involves ensuring accurate and efficient recording of trust transactions, both from the trust system and manually. This includes submitting timely reports to trustors, business units, management, and regulatory agencies, while ensuring compliance with relevant rules and accounting principles.

In this position, you will also assist the accounting team head in managing the team and supervising accounting and document assistants. You will be responsible for reviewing monthly and quarterly financial statements for IMATOFA accounts to ensure compliance with the trust/IMA agreement and BSP requirements.

Additionally, you will promptly address client inquiries and resolve complaints regarding financial statements and transactions. Your strong organizational, problem-solving, planning, analytical, mathematical, and interpersonal skills will enable you to assess existing processes and propose strategic improvements to deliver exceptional and timely service to both internal and external clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification

">

• At least 3 years' experience in financial reporting

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, planning, analytical, mathematical, and interpersonal skills
