Employee Communications Specialist Job Description

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement and measure employee communications messages.
  • Streamline complex ideas and business strategies into relevant, approachable and engaging messages tailored to the audience.
  • Create various types of employee communications tactics, including electronic, print collateral, intranet articles, processes, job aids, etc.
  • Support the execution of written communication plans, including program strategies, messaging, tactics and timelines.
  • Partner with internal clients and teammates to deliver on company and department priorities and objectives.
  • Provide consultation and recommendations to internal clients.
  • Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Key Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in creating content for various channels and formats.
  • Experience with AP Style.
