Bid and Procurement Manager Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bid and Procurement Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for identifying and qualifying private and government bidding opportunities through proactive research, networking, and monitoring of procurement portals like PhilGEPS and other relevant platforms.

  • The ideal candidate will prepare and submit complete and compliant bid documents, manage the entire bidding process from strategy to submission and negotiation, and coordinate with internal teams and consultants to compile required documentation.

  • This role requires strong communication, documentation, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to represent the company in pre-bid meetings and bid openings. The successful candidate will also build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and key stakeholders.

  • The position involves reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with RA 9184 and related laws. Additionally, the candidate must keep bidding records organized and up-to-date and stay informed on procurement trends and legal updates.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Public Administration, Political Science, Business Management, or related fields is required.

  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement or bidding (preferably in AEC industry) is necessary.

  • The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in securing private and government contracts through competitive bidding processes.

  • A strong working knowledge of RA 9184 and government procurement processes is essential.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and negotiation skills are required.

  • Confidence, professionalism, and comfort engaging high-level stakeholders are must-haves.

  • Trustworthiness and attention to detail are critical qualities.

  • Familiarity with PhilGEPS and Bid and Awards Committee procedures is necessary.

  • Experience in contract review and legal compliance is a plus.

Work Details:

  • Salary Range: 40k to 60K

  • Location: San Juan City

  • Work Schedule: M-F, 9-6PM
