We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Paraplanner to support our financial planning team.

The ideal candidate will have experience preparing Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs), conducting product comparisons, and performing strategy modelling in areas such as superannuation, insurance, and pensions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive SOAs and ROAs in line with regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Conduct product research and comparison analyses for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • Assist in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) for property investment opportunities.
  • Utilize advanced financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation purposes.
  • Collaborate with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients, ensuring all plans and recommendations meet regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate client records and communicate effectively with advisers to refine financial strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to model complex financial strategies effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
