Financial Planning and Analysis Professional

We are looking for a skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Professional to help build, maintain and enhance our financial planning, budgeting, reporting and analytical processes.

You will work closely with the Finance Director to develop, implement and manage divisional and corporate budgets, quarterly rolling forecasts, regular and ad-hoc reports, analysis and recommendations for finance, accounting and management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, updating and improving divisional and corporate budgets and quarterly rolling forecasts.
  • Creating regular and ad-hoc reports, analysis and recommendations for finance, accounting and management.
  • Supporting the finance team's modeling and analysis of products, acquisitions and financings.
  • Integrating operational and financial data to improve forecasting accuracy, risk-adjust project ROI and enhance unit economics.
  • Building relationships with leaders of other business units and participating in budgeting across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
  • 2+ years of financial reporting experience, with business analysis experience considered an asset.
  • Experience with financial statement production and/or analysis.
  • Knowledge of accounting data hierarchies and structure.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to understand the financial implications of key decisions.
  • Strong communication skills in written, spoken and visualization mediums.
  • Experience working with technical teams.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
