Digital Banking Quality Assurance Specialist

You will be working as a Quality Assurance Tester. In this role, you will ensure the high quality of digital banking builds and releases by performing functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and create comprehensive test cases from requirements and design documents.
  • Perform various types of testing to identify bugs and defects in digital banking builds/releases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and UX designers, to ensure that quality standards are met.
  • Raise detailed defect reports and verify bug fixes.
  • Maintain and execute manual test cases to ensure accurate results.
  • Contribute to building and executing basic automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in QA testing, preferably in a digital banking or fintech environment.
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC) in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies.
  • Experience using Jira or similar tools for project management and issue tracking.
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, and automation tools like BrowserStack is a plus.
  • Understanding of banking products and user journeys is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to articulate issues and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and eager to learn about digital banking trends.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and ability to work independently.
